February Update 2020: Delivery FAQs

Both containers have arrived at the warehouses with only one game damaged out of all 1000 copies. Much better than I anticipated!

Some of you have been asking for details about delivery so here’s the answers and a new FAQ
1.) What service will be delivering our pledges?
Most orders will likely be shipped by FedEx smart post. The others may be delivered by FedEx to the closest USPS Post Office and USPS will the final delivery.
2.) How can I track my pledge?
An individual tracking number will be issued as parcels leave the warehouse sent to your email address.
3.) Will my parcel require a signature?
Signatures will not be required.
4.) Who can I contact if there are any issues
You can contact Quartermaster Logistics customer service at [email protected]. Please also cc me on that email at [email protected] so I can stay in the loop and also address questions and concerns as well.
Shipping will start soon but I don’t have an exact date just yet. I've been double checking surveys and addresses match the shipping document Quartermaster Logistics is using and we’ve been reviewing packaging of the individual pledges. I’ve approved the packaging Quartermaster logistics is using shown below. I will have another update next week with a date on when shipping will begin.

Quick update on shipping:
NA shipping is still on its way but expected to arrive on time to port (Jan 28th) before going off to the fulfillment center.
The EU fulfillment center has confirmed receipt of the games and are beginning to unload the cargo and take inventory before shipping!!!!

January 2020 Update

Hello and Happy New Year!
US freight shipment on it's way to the US!
It is estimated to arrive on New York, NY on Jan 29th and reach the fulfillment center on Feb 4th in Jacksonville, FL.
From there, the pallets will be unpacked and the individual games sorted and counted and prepared for individual backer shipment.
The US shipping vessel is identified as COSCO EXCELLENCE. It’s location can be tracked here:

The new estimate is that it will dock in Southampton on Jan 7th 2020
Quite a few people have been asking if they can update their addresses. If you need to update your address, you can retake the survey by following this link. You can skip through the pledge questions until you get to the address section to confirm or update your address. If that doesn't work, please reach out to me and I can update it for you!

December Update

Hello!
I’m very happy to announce that manufacturing has wrapped up!!!! It’s been a long journey to get to this milestone and now the games have a long journey ahead themselves.
Delivery to the EU is already underway. Delivery to the US will start soon as there were many more pallets to pack and they packed the EU ones first as games rolled off the production line. I will post an update shortly when the US container ships and I get the container information.
Here is the shipping information I’ve received regarding the EU freight:
Shipment Vessel: Barzan/010W
Container Number: TCNU4819152
ETD: Dec 9th, 2019
ETA at Destination: Jan 2nd, 2020
Once it arrives at the port, it will still need to be picked up and delivered to the EU fulfillment site and will begin shipping to individual backers. I will continue to post updates as they come up for shipping.

Hello!
Unfortunately manufacturing has still not wrapped up yet. I’ve been back and forth with manufacturing to find out what is the issue. There’s not a specific blocker preventing it from moving forward, but rather the manufacturing line has never worked with thermal paper before and so they underestimated the total time to prep all of the thermal paper and adhere them to the boards. There’s not really anything that can be done to speed up the manufacturing, at least not without reducing quality as a faster heater may just burn the paper or ruin the adhesive. They are very close though and they just need a little extra time to work with the paper as heat treating it and adhering it to the boards is taking the longest amount of time. All the other components are done and waiting to be packaged with the boards. All the expansion packs have already finished production and have been palletized.

This does put quite a hamper on shipping though. I had hoped to have finished production in October to avoid the Christmas rush but as it stands now, they will be shipped alongside all other products going out for the holiday season which generally means a longer shipping time due to the volume of orders going out. As it stands, Wingo expects to finish work on Nov 19th. which puts estimated delivery starting on Jan 20th.
