The Depths of Durangrar: A Dungeon Crawler...in the dark
Created by Creative Cove Games
The Depths of Durangrar is an asymmetrical dungeon crawler that's played in the dark. Play as explorers who use LEDs to light up only what's in front of them in a modular maze that's different in every game. Or play as the monster who has a night vision camcorder and can see all the explorers and the whole maze.

After a couple of weeks of hard work researching shipping and logistics, we are very pleased to announce that The Depths of Durangrar fulfillment will be EU-Friendly!
We will be working with shippers both on the freight and local shipping legs who will be able to ensure compliance and make the VAT payments on our end - and what's more, we will be able to do this without raising our current shipping rates. So EU rewards will be shipping from within the EU, and there will be no surprise charges! Furthermore, all of our logistics partners are proven companies with many years of experience doing games fulfillment, and we're feeling very confident about them.
Thanks to all of you for your patience - we hope that this makes it a little easier for some of our friends in the EU to back our project!

Hello!
We're back from a very exciting weekend at the First Annual Connecticut Festival of Indie Games (http://www.ct-fig.com/). CT-FIG is the sister event of the Boston Festival of Indie Games (http://bostonfig.com/) which we attended the previous year.
The Festival of Indie Games is an amazing event that allows independent game developers bring their games to a wide audience to get showcase and get feedback on their games. We saw a ton of creative, amazing and fun games this past weekend -- which makes us extremely happy to share the news that Depths of Durangrar received the Most Innovative Game Award!
In celebration of this honor, we're very excited to open up an additional 10 collector's editions sets. We've talked with the artist, Jason Bakutis, and he will be able to hand paint the additional sets within schedule without delay.
We should having final details on shipping for EU backers this week, so please be patient for a few more days.
Thanks again to all of you for your amazing support!
Almost halfway there...

So we're in day TEN of this campaign, and we've just passed 40% of our goal. We're feeling really good about this start...but more on that in a bit.
Another chance to see The Depths of Durangrar in person...
This Saturday, we'll be at the Connecticut Festival of Indie Games' first-ever Annual Game Festival! If you'll be in New Haven this weekend (or have a friend who will be, hint hint) try and tear yourself away from the apizza and Long Wharf taco trucks for long enough for a demo.
We'll be super happy to chat with any backers who have questions!
EU-friendly?
A few people have asked us if this project is EU-friendly, and the answer, for now is: we're working on it!!!!
We launched with a shipping plan that would ship all our rewards from the US, but we're looking into something better for our friends in the EU. So, we're hard at work now reviewing some other options: we hope to be able to make a final announcement on this very soon. Thank you for a bit of patience until then!
Momentum...
So, back to our current situation: we had a strong start, making nearly $10,000 on our first day. Since then, things have slowed down - our last 4 days, we raised under $1000.
This is a pretty normal scenario for Kickstarter campaigns like ours, but thanks to a great article from Game Informer, we've had a good day today.
But here's the thing: to hit our goal, we need to raise about $1325 every day for the rest of the campaign.
We can do it, but it's not going to be easy - we're going to be doing everything we can: we'll be demoing, posting, answering questions, and telling everyone we know about the game every day until May 27th. We're spending what we can on advertising, too, but it's not a lot - after all, we're a tiny, self-funded company.
So what does this mean for you as a backer? We need your help to get us to our campaign goal by spreading the word. If each backer could share the word and convince one new tabletop gamer to get on board, we're confident that we can hit our goal. And we're here to help you do that. Anything you need at all, let us know. We're happy to share our pictures of the game, the development process, and upcoming events with you.
So, if you're going to a board game night at your local shop or a friends' place, consider sharing the word about our little game. If you know someone who writes about games, please put a word in. And if you're part of a group that's close enough to Brooklyn for us to come give a demo, let us know!
We know it's a lot to ask (especially since you've already backed!) but this could be what puts us over the top so Depths of Durangrar can become a reality.
Thanks so much!

A great start to our adventure!

One day doesn't seem like a long time when you've spent nearly two years working on something...but yesterday sure was a big one for us!
After just about 24 hours we've raised about 20% of our funding. That's a huge step towards making The Depths of Durangrar a reality, but it also means we have about 80% left to go...
But don't worry, we have a plan! The next piece of the puzzle is a big one: we'll be demoing The Depths of Durangrar at Pax East this weekend, starting Friday. We'll be in the tabletop section of the Indie Megabooth and we expect to be able to do a real demo of the experience using a small blackout tent!
This means a few things: first, if you're going to be in Boston this weekend, you can come check out the game. We'd love to see you!
Second, if you know anyone who is going to be attending, please send them my way!
Last -- and this is a big one -- we're hoping to get some press from this event. If we do, we'll be posting it here as well as on our Facebook page. It would be super, super helpful if you would consider sharing some of this coverage with your friends on social media (we know a lot of you have shared our launch already, and that's awesome!) We don't want to spam, but we need your help getting the word about The Depths of Durangrar out to the community if we're going to hit our goal.
And that leaves me with the most important message: thanks to all of you who've shown your support. If we get this game funded, you deserve the credit!
And now let us get back to the grindstone. After all...the monsters await...
