The Depths of Durangrar: A Dungeon Crawler...in the dark

Created by Creative Cove Games

The Depths of Durangrar is an asymmetrical dungeon crawler that's played in the dark. Play as explorers who use LEDs to light up only what's in front of them in a modular maze that's different in every game. Or play as the monster who has a night vision camcorder and can see all the explorers and the whole maze.

2nd April Update
over 5 years ago – Sun, Apr 28, 2019 at 12:49:03 AM

All the packages have cleared customs and the manufacturer will begin production soon. They're taking inventory of the parts they received now and setting up the production line for all the components specific to The Depths of Duragrar. I'm super excited to be finally at this stage. I will be posting pictures of the parts rolling off the assembly line soon.

Early April Update
over 5 years ago – Mon, Apr 08, 2019 at 01:25:03 AM

All the parts have been shipped out to China! They should be delivered in two weeks by which time I expect production on the games to resume.

I'm waiting on an exact schedule from Wingo for the remaining production timeline. I understand they're a little hesitant to provide an exact schedule until they receive all the parts given the delay it caused last time on my part when the parts did not clear customs. My estimate puts them at 6 more weeks to complete production once they receive the remaining parts. Once completed, it’ll take 8 to 10 weeks to ship by ocean freight to the North American and EU distribution centers. I’ve been told it’ll take 2 weeks to take all the games off the pallets, individually package them and begin shipping to all of you which puts delivery mid to late September. I will post an update when I hear from the manufacturer a more exact schedule.

March Update
over 5 years ago – Thu, Mar 28, 2019 at 12:57:00 AM

Hello!

Short update for this month. I’ve finished inspecting all the returned pieces and they were all in good condition so that’s good news. I’ve gotten them all packaged up and ready to ship. Unfortunately it’s been a busy month at work so I haven’t been able to drop the packages off at the shipping office. I should be able to drop it off early next week so I’ll have a new update about that soon.

A few people have been asking about scheduling and I hope to have an answer for you soon but I have been focusing on having the last items shipped as soon as possible.

February Update
over 5 years ago – Tue, Feb 26, 2019 at 12:50:25 AM

I’ve received the parts that were stuck in customs and have gone through checking most of them. Despite the awful condition of the boxes, so far, all the pieces have been returned to me intact which is encouraging. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the condition of the boxes.

Corner badly damaged and open. Contents of the box were intact though.

Fortunately, it looks like double boxing things worked out as all the boxes inside were intact.

Everything intact save the bubble wrap which was flattened.

One of the bags with the individual pieces poured out for quality checking.

Once I’ve gone through the last of them, I’ll be immediately shipping them out via DHL express and then production can finally finish and I can begin the process of having them brought over to North America and the European Union for distribution. For backers of all other countries, the distribution center will be mailing you your pledge by air parcel.

Lastly, if you haven’t seen it in the comments from the last update, I received some feedback about the maze generator not displaying fully and being impossible to scroll horizontally. That issue has since been resolved. Thank you so much to backers ThomasDN and Fredrik for testing out the fix.
